Hydraulic Power Unit Refurb

In some cases, overhaul of a hydraulic power unit can be cost effective compared to designing and manufacturing new.

In this case, this was a spare unit that had had some components removed and used as spares for the in-service power unit. Other valves had been left with ports open to the atmosphere and started to rust.

Our brief was simply to get the unit back into service, as new.

The components that were obviously beyond use due to rust and excessive contaminants, were scrapped, and replaced in line with the original OEM spec. Other components were tested, serviced, and reused.

The complete frame was stripped down, repainted, all components reinstalled, new hoses manufactured and installed. The complete unit was tested before leaving our factory and our in house site service team attended site to re install the power unit.
