Grabs FAQ

A Grab is a machine used for grabbing objects, typically one with a mechanical arm. they are commonly used for construction purposes, but can also be used in other settings such as waste management.

There are many different types of grabs available on the market, each designed for a specific purpose. The most common type of grab is the excavator grab, which is used for digging and lifting heavy objects.

Gantry cranes and excavator grabs work by using a series of pulleys and cables to lift heavy objects. The crane operator uses a control panel to move the arm of the crane, which is attached to a large hook. The hook is then used to lift the object off the ground and move it to the desired location. They use hydraulics to function, which makes them very powerful and able to lift extremely heavy objects.

There are many ways to mount a grab. The most common way is to attach it to an excavator, but they can also be mounted on gantry cranes, telehandlers, and other types of machinery.
